Short and plain.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It also records when you scroll down a page, click a link that leads off the site, or download a file. It sets a first-party cookie to tell one visit from the next. I switched the advertising features off, so nothing here builds an ad profile or follows you to other sites. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, Google offers a browser add-on.

When you subscribe, I store your email so I can send you posts. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Ask any time and I delete it.
