Meeting HUD: Real-time context, answers and fact-checks on every call

Every call has this moment. Someone names a client, a project or a number, and you're digging through tabs while they wait. Or someone states a "fact" about an ad platform and it goes straight into the plan, unchallenged.

Meeting HUD fixes that. It's a small overlay that sits on top of Zoom, Teams or Meet, listens from your own machine, and puts what you need on screen while the conversation is still happening:

  • Hears both sides of the call with no bot joining, and transcribes it live
  • Spots people, projects and deals as they come up and pulls the record from your own systems, with what to ask, confirm or flag right now
  • Say "Hey Claude, ..." mid-call and get the answer on screen, from Airtable, StratOps, Notion, Trello, Ahrefs, your reporting portal and more
  • Fact-checks claims as they're made, and only shows a check when it can link the exact page that settles it
  • Tracks action items and suggests the next question to ask
  • Logs every call to Airtable with a summary and action items the moment you hit Stop
  • Read-only by design: it can look anything up and change nothing. Keys stay encrypted on your PC
  • Invisible in screen shares, with a demo mode for when you want to show it off

How it's built

I designed and built it end to end:

  • ~7,000 lines of TypeScript in an Electron desktop app
  • 265 automated checks, including every tool it's allowed to call across 10 connected systems
  • Live speech-to-text, standard sign-in to each service, and updates that install between calls

Next up: a pre-call brief built from each attendee's history, and a redesigned interface.
