How a Build Session works
What you bring
Your idea or your rough product, and any notes you already have.
How it runs
We start with a short prep call.
Then we spend a half day together, in person anywhere from Austin to San Antonio, or remote. I drive and you steer. You tell me what the app should do and how it should feel, and I build it with you watching.
What you leave with
Before you leave, it's a working web app on a real web address, with a simple site in front of it that you can share. The code is in your own account, not mine. You also get a recorded walkthrough of how it was built and 7 days of small fixes after the session.
What a first session does not include
App store apps, payments and health data.
Keep building with a Build Partner
Some founders want to keep going after the first session. As your Build Partner, I hold two build sessions with you each month and help you in between. Depending on the week, I build with you or build it for you.
Product further along? Get people to see it
Once it's built, the next job is getting people to notice it.
The Go-to-Market Plan is a written plan for your first 90 days of getting your product in front of people, with your first channel picked. You get it within 2 weeks. I also introduce you to people in my network who run that work, like ads, newsletters or LinkedIn. The introductions are free. I do not run the marketing myself, and I take no referral fees.
The Go-to-Market Partner is for founders who already have the Plan. Your partners do the marketing work, and I keep an eye on it for you. We hold a planning session each month. I check in with your partners once a week. At the end of the month we review the results together and decide what to change next.

I already have a rough product. Where do I start?
With a Build Session. Bring what you have and we build from there. If your product is further along and what you need now is for people to see it, start with the Go-to-Market Plan.
I'm not technical. Is that a problem?
No. I drive and you steer. You make the calls and I do the building. Afterward, the recorded walkthrough shows you how it was built.
Who owns what we build?
You do. The code is in your own account, not mine.
Can you build a phone app or take payments?
Not in a first session. App store apps, payments and health data are left out.
Do I have to do a Build Session before Build Partner?
Build Partner is the ongoing building that comes after a Build Session.
